We are going through an unconventional way of selling our home at auction. Cannot speak highly enough of our experience with Mark and Gerrie. They are the consummate professionals and Mark was incredibly diligent in his survey of the property which gave us so much more confidence in our subsequent decisions. He was on time and spent time with us walking round to highlight the most pertinent points and was more than happy to answer all of our questions. The report was turned around incredibly quickly and was really comprehensive with so much more context and advice than I have ever received in a survey report.

We just had Mark from House Sound Inspection do an inspection on a home we are wanting to purchase. We were so impressed with Mark, his friendliness and professionalism, from the moment we met him, to the walk through, to the detailed inspection (broken down into completely understandable terms). He explained all he could about the home in detail pointing out any realistic concerns, but also noting the positives. He also answered any additional questions we had after the fact. Upon our initial inquiry with House Sound, Gerrie got back to us right away, made our appointment, setting it up quickly and professionally. Would definitely recommend them!

Mark and Gerrie are the best of the best. I am a realtor and not only do they serve my clients thoroughly, but they just recently did my own personal home inspection, and I got to be on the client end for a change! Mark takes the time to go through every detail of the home, and relays it in the clearest and most understanding way! His reports are sent quickly and he will walk you through any questions in depth. Mark is extremely detailed oriented, inspected every aspect of our home to be with a critical eye and provided us with a fair balanced assessment with recommendations for correction and supported his opinions with data linked to various websites. It was both educational as to how things worked in a house, awesome for future maintenance and was appropriate and very beneficial for assessing the house with a purchase in mind. I recommend him.

Very thorough, knowledgeable and professional. We’ve had a house inspection on two different places. One saved us from buying a house that would have meant a lot of money in costly repairs and the next pointed out minor repairs that if done would save us money in the future. My wife and I were so appreciative of the time Mark took to assess our new home with us. He is thorough, thoughtful, and so approachable. Our knowledge and understanding of homes is subpar, but Mark’s insights were relevant to our needs, easy to digest, and well explained. His multimedia use of photos in our initial review and in the report were so helpful. And his report turnaround time was so fast! (He stayed up until 3AM to make sure we got our report as soon as possible) We are beyond grateful for the experience Mark created for us in our home inspection. We are now first-time home owners!

I highly recommend House Sound Home Inspections! An absolute pleasure to work with from the first phone conversation to the final report. Gerrie was very responsive and helpful in setting the appointment up, I knew I was in good hands right from the start. The inspection itself was a great experience - Mark is extremely thorough, and explained everything clearly during the walk through. I must also add that he is a great guy - super approachable and friendly - and he definitely knows his stuff! The final report is perfectly formatted and easy to read, and contains everything you need to know about your property and more! Used House Sound Home Inspections on our house a few months back. Wrote a review then and am just following up. My brother is a builder in Australia and was blown away at the detail their report came in. Also had an issue with turning the old oil furnace on while out of province. Mark was so kind as to pop over and give us a hand with the issue a few months after the initial inspection. You don't find business' like this nowadays. Cannot recommend them enough.
